KUCHING: The womenfolk in Long Bemang, Sarawak’s longest Kayan longhouse with 200 households in Baram, will be invited to attend a workshop on handicraft development.
A Miri-based voluntary handicraft organisation will share with them its success story during the workshop at the longhouse tomorrow.
Angkatan Zaman Mansang (Azam), a non-governmental organisation, had organised a workshop on “Building Capacity in Voluntarism Among Rural Women” at the longhouse settlement last year.
