Note: Only users under the
Internal and External Membership categories
are granted borrowing & reference privileges.
Short-Term
Access To The Centre
The following categories may be allowed to
use the centre for reference only, upon acceptance
of their written applications:

Visiting scholars and
researchers
-
Senior Malaysian government
officers who are undertaking research
-
Students and staff of local
and foreign universities in need of specific
library materials for their research
-
Practical students and/or
trainees who are currently attached to AZAM
and SDI
How
to become a member?
The procedures to become a registered member
of ASK Centre is as follows:-

Those who are interested
to be a member of ASK Centre can come personally
to the Information Desk at the centre and
get a copy of the ASK Centre Membership Application
Form from the staff on duty.
- Please complete this form and send it together
with one (1) photocopy of identity card and
the required fees to staff.

Your application will
only be processed upon receiving your payment.
Your membership card will be sent to you two
(2) weeks thereafter. Please take note that
incomplete form will be rejected.

| A member of ASK Centre will

Able to access the various
services such as Reference Services, Circulation
Services, Materials Request, Reservation,
Recall Request, Interlibrary Loan, Document
Delivery, Photocopying, Printing and Internet. |

Receive one (1) free copy of the latest
Utusan Pembangunan AZAM. |
| 3. |
10% discounts on selected AZAM's and SDI's
publications. |

| The use of the Membership
Card is subject to the terms and conditions
as follows:- |
| 1. |
Membership Card should be renewed annually
except for staff of AZAM, staff of SDI and
staff of AZAM's subsidiaries. |
| 2. |
Loss, stolen or damaged cards must be
reported to us immediately. A replacement
will be issued at the cost of RM10.00. |
| 3. |
Please notify the centre's staff immediately
of any change in address and contact numbers
so that we can update your records. |
| 4. |
Membership cards are non-transferable. |
