A day of confidence-building sessions and an introductory course to AZAM Toastmasters Club (AZAM TMC) is in the works for International College of Advanced Technology Sarawak’s (i-CATS) inaugural “Creating Life on Campus” programme on 8 September 2018.

AZAM met up with AZAM TMC president Bong Kuek Kong and vice president Azim Ismail in a preliminary meeting on their programme for the big day which will see various other activities taking place at i-CATS’ West Campus at Jalan Stampin Timur.

As part of their corporate social responsibility (CSR) program, the hardworking team at i-CATS have planned at least 20 programmes for the day. Their diverse programmes cover a wide range of interests such as courses for entrepreneurs and start-ups, lifelong learning programmes, personal up-skilling courses as well as mini-forums on social issues aimed to empower and create stimulating discussions among participants.

There will also be an i-CATS Bazaar which will include food and beverage as well as services from various vendors.

AZAM TMC is a diverse club with a wide range of age groups, nationalities and cultures.  Members learn important life skills like public speaking, communication and leadership skills in a fun and friendly environment. AZAM TMC meetings are on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month and guests are most welcome.
